Chapter SixWhen the door was opened I looked down a long, slender table adorned with silver candlesticks, white candles, and two place settings. There was one at the closest end of the table and one at the farthest end of the table. He led me to the farthest chair, pulled it out, and subsequently slid me to the table after I sat down. Before I could say thank you, he was already at the other place setting, seated, and looking at me. The place set for me contained handfuls of silverware, several plates, flutes and thimbles filled with different colors, and a few bowls all accompanied with a matching silver dome over the top.
